Michael Young

In July 2025, Michael Young will celebrate 27 years of dedicated service to The Coca-Cola Company. Over the span of his career, Michael has charted a distinctive path across the Coca-Cola system moving vertically to roles of escalating responsibility and horizontally across multiple functional areas. He has enjoyed eleven different roles in Coca-Cola’s Foodservice, Marketing Execution, Global Procurement & Trade, and National Customer Operations Business Units.

Michael’s true passion lies in the realm of customer management and people leadership. He began his career as a Sales Associate working to grow the business of local food service and bottle/can customers in Atlanta. Since that position, he has led customer relationships from every angle including roles as Account Executive, Marketing Procurement Specialist, Marketing Manager, Sr. National Customer Operations Manager, and Business Development Leader. Michael also enjoyed six years of growth, development, and McFun in Coca-Cola’s McDonald’s Division where he held two leadership roles, U.S. Region Director and North America Vice President, Sales & Business Analytics. Prior to his current SVP assignment, Michael contributed to Coca-Cola’s Chief Customer Office as a Vice President of Global Accounts leading an inspired team responsible for partnerships with large cinema, quick service, and fast-casual chain customers.

Michael resides northeast of downtown Atlanta in Johns Creek, GA with his wife Marni, and two children Kelsie (21) and Kayla (17). When he is away from the office and his customers, he enjoys tennis, golf, cooking for his family, participating in Atlanta Gator Club activities, and anxiously rooting for Atlanta’s professional sports teams. The Young family fervently believes in the practice of community development and personal growth through the service of others committing the apertures of their busy schedules to the Georgia Special Olympics, Ronald McDonald House Charities, 100 Black Men Inc., and North Point Community Church. Michael holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Managerial Science from Georgia State University and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Florida.
