As Accenture’s Global Beverages Leader and a leader in Enterprise Reinvention for Consumer Industries, Maria helps clients accelerate their business performance through digital capabilities that drive sustainable 360 value.  In her programs and accounts, she encourages her clients to leverage data and technology to create enterprise capabilities that drive human experiences, optimize business performance, and build resilient, responsible, and transparent business networks.

Maria is the Global Strategy & Consulting Client Service Leader for Accenture’s largest CPG account where her teams deliver the most differentiated and cutting-edge programs to help her client leapfrog the competition consistently in the last 5+ years.  She oversees 15+ on-going global projects for different business units of the account.  In her work as an advisor, technologist, and researcher, Maria strives to find the balance between reinventing the fundamentals of the operation and the enduring innovation derived from new technologies and diversity of thought. This is the Human+ Machine combination that transforms enterprises!

Maria has authored several papers on Enterprise Business Performance, Service Innovation, Supply Chain Performance Management, Supply Chain Resiliency, Network Design, and Control Towers and brings years of expertise as Adjunct Faculty at Georgia Tech and other schools.

She received a PhD in business performance from Cranfield University (UK), a master’s degree in supply chain operations and international logistics from the Georgia Institute of Technology (USA), and is an Economist from Universidad del Rosario (Colombia).  Maria Rey-Marston has been recognized as #13 of Global Top 100 women in supply chain and Top 10 woman in Supply Chain in North America, and received the Outstanding Colombian Citizen Abroad Award from the President of Colombia.   She currently lives in Tokyo, Japan with her husband of 25 years.
